Air to Water Heat Pumps

A heat pump is a machine which moves heat from a low temperature reservoir to a higher temperature reservoir under supply of work. Heat pumps are self contained units similar to large fridges with all the working parts contained inside. They work in a similar manner to fridges/freezers except in reverse, i.e. they take the heat from the outside and bring it into the home. Air to water heat pumps take the energy from the air and convert that into energy that can be utilised in both your heating and hot water systems. They are very simple pieces of equipment that can be ‘bolted on’ to your existing system (plug & play).
